Dirty Loops

Dirty Loop's acclaimed music - classical, jazz and pop in one - has taken the world by storm. Jonah Nilsson on vocals and piano, Henrik Linder on bass and Aaron Mellergårdh on drums, invites the audience to cross-genre music. On July 7, they come to Sara culture house.

The three band members all have personal expressions and are acclaimed for, through the mix of different genres, giving modern hits a whole new sound. Their fusion music is carried by vocals, bouncy beats and interesting harmonies - also known as the "Dirty Loops sound".

In 2014, the group released their debut album, Loopified, with the single "Hit Me". The band has since toured with, among others, Quincy Jones and Maroon 5. In 2020 and 2021, the group released the albums "Phoenix" and "Turbo", the latter together with Grammy-nominated Cory Wong.

From Youtube success to global record contract
Dirty Loops was founded in 2008 by friends Jonah, Henrik and Aaron. Two years later, they were successful on Youtube when they posted a cover of Lady Gaga's "Just Dance", without any idea what the reactions would be. After 100,000 views on Youtube and more than 10,000 shares on Facebook, they went viral. The breakthrough led to a record deal with producer David Foster and Verve Records and at the end of 2012 the band went on tour in Japan, China, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. The success was followed by the band signing with Quincy Jones and his iconic management company, Quincy Jones Productions.
