In the lecture "Ja skiter i att det är fejk det är förjävligt ändå", "I don't care that it's fake, it still sucks" Jack Werner points out the problematic aspects of getting your news from social media. How do you know what's true or false? And what does the internet do to our perception of reality?

Jack points out fabrications, rumors, legends, propaganda and lies, and talks about the internet's impact on us and what we can do to see through the viral lie. He also talks about myths, legends and why he doesn't like the term "fake news."

You probably recognize Jack Werner's voice from the Creepypodden, which he has hosted since 2015. Jack is also the founder of Viralgranskaren, has been awarded the Stora Journalistpriset and he has also published several books on the topic of source criticism.

The lecture is free but pre-registration is required.
