On sight

Welcome to Sara kulturhus! Let your visit take its time and take the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful house.

Wardrobe
You can find an unguarded wardrobe under Kulturtrappan next to the South entrance. In connection with our events, we offer guarded wardrobes in connection with our stages. The cloakroom fee is then included in the ticket price.

It is not allowed to bring backpacks, larger bags, umbrellas, or other large objects into the stages. Read more under the heading Bag ban below.

Food and drinks may not be brought in either. If you have any questions before your visit, please contact us at info@sarakulturhus.se.

Bag ban
Sara kulturhus complies with the Swedish Police Agency's rules regarding bag bans in connection with major events, which came into effect on November 1, 2023. Read more here

Food and drinks
During your visit with us, you can enjoy good food and drink from the various restaurants in the house. On the entrance floor is Paolo's café and restaurant. On the 4th floor you will find the a la carte restaurant Mandel. Up on the 19th floor is restaurant Miss Voon.

Admission, break and end time
About 30 minutes before the event starts, the stage opens for audience admission. Please come in good time. If an event is on hiatus or not varying, see what applies to your event on our events page. There you will also find an estimated end time for the event. The end time is preliminary and we cannot guarantee that it will be correct.

Wheelchair spaces
Stage 1 has 6 wheelchair spaces in row 22: space 710, 711, 712 (B2) and space 719, 720, 721 (A2).
All wheelchair spaces are most easily accessed via the building's northern entrance and elevator at stairwell B.

Stage 2 has 2 wheelchair spaces, at the far end of each side in row 1.
The wheelchair spaces are most easily accessed via the building's northern entrance and the entrance to Stage 2.

Companions are included in the ticket for a wheelchair space. Please note that companions sit on regular chairs diagonally behind the wheelchair space. Please respect that wheelchair spaces are intended for wheelchair users. In case of violation, the ticket will be declared invalid on the spot and entry to the event will be denied. Tickets cannot be repurchased in the event of an incorrect purchase.

During the concert
It is permitted to photograph (without flash) and record sound during an ongoing concert - unless otherwise communicated before the event.

Please turn off the sound on your mobile phone during the event. Keep in mind that it is not only a "ringing" phone that is disturbing to the rest of the audience, but also that other mobile use and bright screens take attention away from the shared experience.

Toilets
There are toilets next to all of our entrances and stages. Accessible toilets are available where toilets are available. At the toilets next to the library there is a toilet with a changing table. This toilet is also accessible.

Perfume
Keep in mind that there are visitors who are sensitive to strong scents. Feel free to refrain from strong perfumes with regard to allergy sufferers or those who are hypersensitive to fragrances.

Audience hosts
Our audience hosts are on hand before, during and after the concert to help you get settled. Don't hesitate to ask if you need help with anything.

Hearing aids
In all our scenes there are hearing aids that you as a visitor can borrow. Read more here.

Defibrillator
In Sara kulturhus there are three defibrillators and staff who can use them if a cardiac arrest should occur.
