General terms and conditions

GENERAL INFORMATION

Skellefteå Kulturhus AB (org. no. 559146-5843), hereinafter referred to as SK, sells tickets both for its own productions and as an intermediary for external event organizers. External organizers determine the specific terms that apply to their events, which may differ from SK’s terms.

By completing a purchase, you accept both SK’s terms and the organizer’s terms. The organizer’s name is listed in the event calendar for each event as well as on the purchased ticket.

Ticket Purchase Terms

  • Ticket reservations can be canceled until payment has been made.
  • The Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act does not apply to ticket purchases for events. Once payment has been completed, the customer is bound by the purchase.
  • The customer is responsible for keeping their user ID and password confidential to prevent tickets from being accessed by unauthorized persons.
  • Purchased (paid) tickets are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are only available if an event is canceled or rescheduled. Service fees are non-refundable.

Service and distribution fees

  • A service fee is always added to the ticket price.
  • When purchasing from an agent, such as Skellefteå Tourist Center, a distribution fee is also applied.
  • Service and distribution fees are non-refundable in the event of ticket refunds.

Personal Use

  • Tickets may not be purchased and/or resold for commercial purposes or offered in competitions or in connection with other products or services without written permission from SK and/or the responsible organizer.
  • If an event has restrictions on the number of tickets per purchase and/or customer, the specified maximum must not be exceeded.

Breach of Terms

  • SK reserves the right to immediately cancel bookings or purchases and deactivate a customer account if false information is provided or if the customer violates SK’s terms.
  • If a booking is canceled due to such a violation, service fees, distribution fees, or delivery fees will not be refunded. SK may also decide not to refund the ticket price.

Canceled or rescheduled events

  • If an event is canceled or rescheduled, SK will contact all customers who have purchased tickets for the affected event.
  • An event is considered canceled if it does not take place at all. Changes to the program, date, venue, or partially completed events do not constitute a canceled event.
  • Service and/or distribution fees are non-refundable for canceled or rescheduled events.

Program changes

  • SK reserves the right to modify programs and participating performers in case of illness or other events beyond SK’s or the organizer’s control.

Refunds

  • SK provides refunds for its own productions if they are canceled.
  • If SK acts as an intermediary for an external organizer, the organizer’s refund policy applies.
  • If the purchase was made through Ticketmaster and the customer has an account, the refund will be processed automatically to the same account used for the purchase.
  • If the purchase was made fully or partially with a gift card, the customer must notify SK of their refund request within three (3) months of the event date.
  • If the purchase was made through an agent, such as Skellefteå Tourist Center, the customer must contact them for a refund.
