Stage 1

While being the largest hall in the building, Stage 1 is very flexible. The stage area will easily house a large symphony orchestra and the gallery can hold a 1200 seated audience.

By parking up to 12 seating rows, 300 square meters of flat floor space can be added to the stage floor. This solution open possibilities for a wide range of special events. Fair, banquet with table setting, nightclub and of course - Standing Audience - combined with the gallery seating grows the capacity to 1 700 people. Artists like Zara Larsson, Carola, Joe Labero and Victor Leksell have previously graced this stage. We welcome all ideas and love to solve the puzzle!

Flexible solutions:

• Retractable sound wall dividing the stage from the gallery.
• Front three rows can be parked to house an orchestra pit.
• Front six rows can be parked, creating an extra stage in front of the sound door.
• Row 1-12 can be parked, creating a flat surface at stage level, making the total floor area about 500 square meters - Highly suitable for dinners or banquets, up to approximately 350 guests.
• Ceiling height over 23 meters
• Possibility to fly up to 80t of equipment over stage area, and an additional 50t over the gallery.
• Black box draping for whole stage area.
• Projector (18k Ansi Lumen) and motorized projection screen (8m, wide)
• 24 fly bars over stage and 2 house trusses over the gallery.

INCLUDED IN BASE RATE - AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Staff: Stage manager, Sound engineer, Light engineer and ushers are included in a normal hire - eight hours per function.
Equipment/gear: All installed equipment in Stage 1 are included in the hire. We also have additional available equipment – ask us for an offer.
Sound and lighting: Sound system with wireless microphones (up to eight systems) and stage lighting are included in the hire.
Dressing rooms: When hiring Stage 1, two dressing rooms are included. Additional room can be hired, based on availability, at a cost of 1500 SEK per room. Extra rooms can be confirmed no earlier than one month before the event.
Ticketing: Sara kulturhus handle all ticketing.
Marketing: All public events will be promoted via our website and social media channels. Contact our marketing department regarding additional marketing.
Housekeeping: Housekeeping is included, before and after all events.

Additional charges
Sara kulturhus will charge a mandatory wardrobe fee in addition to the hire. Administrative costs for ticketing services are also additional.

Other information
Furniture (such as tables, sofas, coffee tables and chairs), can be booked for in house events – the same goes for technical equipment (network, power, draping, lights, sound and video). Please present your needs when booking. Rental fees may apply.
