HippHipp Live!

25 years after HippHipp! exploded onto the Swedish comedy scene, it is now confirmed that comedians Anders Jansson and Johan Wester are reuniting for a major tour across Sweden with the newly written comedy show “HippHipp Live!”. For the first time, the two friends are taking their almost cult-status characters Tiffany Persson, Kajan, Morgan Pålsson and Itzhak out on the road. On April 16, 2027, Anders and Johan will come to Sara kulturhus in Skellefteå!

“HippHipp Live!” will offer plenty of familiar moments but is by no means a pure nostalgia trip. It will feature stand-up-like monologues and improvisation mixed with breathtaking dialogues and direct encounters with the audience – a format in which the characters not only return but are also put to the test in today’s world. What happens when Tiffany, Kajan and Itzhak are forced to grapple with everything from dating apps and sleep apnea to grandchildren and fitness trackers?

When the comedy show “HippHipp!” premiered on SVT in the autumn of 2001, it marked the beginning of a new era in Swedish comedy. With characters like Staffanstorp’s pride Tiffany Persson, fire-safety instructor Kaj-Åke “Kajan” Hansson, musicologist Itzhak Skenström, TV host Mike Higgins and world reporter Morgan Pålsson, Johan and Anders mixed sketches with everyday relatability, unexpected twists and satire. The series became enormously popular and established the comedians as two of Sweden’s funniest.

Despite their great success, HippHipp! has actually never gone on a nationwide tour. Next year – 25 years after their breakthrough – it is finally happening! In autumn 2026, “HippHipp Live!” will premiere, a sparkling show that for the first time brings the humor and madness that audiences have come to love HippHipp! for onto the country’s biggest stages.

Walker: placed outside the entrance, staff on site are available if you need help.
Lift: located at stairwell B, left side.
