This winter, Gustaf & Viktor Norén are embarking on their first tour in several years as they celebrate Christmas together for the fifth time. Just like last year, when they performed a total of six sold-out Christmas concerts at Filedelfia in Stockholm, the brothers will perform entirely on their own without a band. Sara Culture House will be one of only six tour stops, and the only one along the Norrland coast.
– When Gustaf and I performed at Filadelfiakyrkan last Christmas, we felt that we got closer to our audience than we ever had before. The musical intimacy transformed everyone in the room into one big family. Just as Christmas should be. So now, as we venture out into the country for the first time in a very long time, it feels like one big family gathering. We hope and believe that we will bring together the magic of Christmas with the united power of music and, hand in hand with the audience, spread human warmth, joy, laughter & tears. Welcome to our Christmas celebration!" - Viktor Norén.
The Norén brothers have always strived to build traditions with their audience, and their Christmas concerts have become a holiday tradition for many. In 2019, they embarked on a tour visiting churches, and since 2021, they have had Filedelfia in Stockholm as a regular venue – mixed with smaller and more intimate venues, and in 2022, with a sold-out arena concert at Tegera Arena in Leksand. 2024 is no exception, so this year they will once again meet the audience and offer beloved Christmas songs, as well as favorites from the brothers' own and shared song catalog.
