Cory Henry

We are thrilled to announce that the world-renowned jazz artist Cory Henry will be performing at Sara kulturhus. This concert will be his only performance in Sweden during his tour, and we look forward to a magical evening filled with world-class music.

Cory Henry, known for his unique talent and charismatic stage performances, has had a long and successful career. Simply put, Cory Henry is a Grammy-winning artist, composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and all-around keyboard master. One could say that Cory Henry represents an exciting part of the future of music!

In 2021, Cory's album "Something to Say" was nominated at the 2022 Grammy Awards for Best Progressive R&B Album, and he was also nominated as a producer on Eric Bellinger's "New Light." In 2022, Cory won his first Latin Grammy for Album of the Year for his work on Rosalía's album "Motomami." At the 2023 Grammy Awards, Cory was nominated for his new album "Operation Funk" in the categories of Best Progressive R&B Album and Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album for Rosalía's "Motomami." Most recently, he has been nominated for Best Alternative Jazz Album for "Live at the Piano" at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

Over the years, Cory Henry has had successful collaborations with artists such as Imagine Dragons, Smino, Lucky Daye, and many more. He was previously a member of Snarky Puppy, and during his time with the band, he won three Grammy Awards! This fall, Cory will share his gift on the piano, something Europe has yet to experience.

Good to know before your visit:

Age limit: none.
Bag ban: applies to events in Stage 1 and Stage 2, read more here.
Wardrobe: is mandatory for bag and jacket. The cloakroom is located adjacent to the stage for the event and the fee is included in your ticket.
Admission: approx. 30 minutes before the event starts.
Eating: Food and drink are not allowed to be brought into our stages.
Hearing aids: available in all our scenes, read more here.
Walker: placed outside the entrance, staff on site are available if you need help.
Lift: located at stairwell B, left side.
Wheelchair spaces: All wheelchair spaces are accessible via lift, stairwell B, left side. Due to evacuation regulations, a wheelchair ticket must be presented by a wheelchair user for entry to events in Stage 1 or Stage 2.
